Release Date: May 5, 2002New entry to the online market with Teamwear USA - youth and adult sportswear for schools, camps, company teams, collegesBuilding on its reputation in the corporate casual apparel field, Corporate Apparel Unlimited, LLC announced today the formation of a new division, Teamwear USA. Through its new Web site, www.TeamwearUSA.com, CAU will market a full line of sportswear and casual wear for both adults and youth, including everything from varsity jackets to sweatshirts, sweat pants, coaches jackets, warmup jackets, polo shirts, t-shirts, tank tops, fleece jackets, and caps and visors. According to Phil Beukema, CEO and President of Corporate Apparel Unlimited [CAU], "from the research our marketing team has done over the past 6 months, our newest Web site carries the most extensive online catalog of sportswear now available in both youth and adult sizes." Its newest site, launched officially on April 20th, 2002, is the third in a series - the first two being www.CorporateApparelWholesale.com [or CAWholesale for short] and www.CAUnlimited.com - the firm's earliest site launched in October of 2000, concentrating on custom logo apparel. The sportswear market knows almost no bounds, as Beukema tells it. From both the research that his team has done and in his own words, "my own strong hunch that we had hit on a terrific market niche," all the signs were strong that launching a site of this kind would be the appropriate next step for his company to take. Beukema anticipates a growing roster of clients, including YMCA and church camps, community sports teams - baseball, soccer, basketball, for instance - company sponsored teams of all kinds, as well as resellers, embroiderers, screen print companies and others besides. A key feature of the site that is "unique to the best of our knowledge," according to Teamwear's CEO, is their Rebate Program series. A "program" is available to three categories of buyers: Schools, Community Sports Organizations, and Sports Clubs/ Leagues. For all public and private schools in the U.S., for example, the program offers a rebate of 10% on orders over $500 OR a rebate of 5% on all purchases made during the year, regardless of size. Special "info-forms" are available on-site for signup purposes. Beukema and his Teamwear USA team anticipate that, within a year from now, at least 500 schools, sports organizations and clubs will have signed on to this program and become ongoing "members." CAU entered the wholesale casual apparel market in October, 2000 with a Web site designed to cater to the broad corporate apparel market. With continued growth, it moved on to launch its second site in August of 2001, www.CAWholesale.com, offering a broad array of men's and women's garments, both blank and with logo decoration, that include polo shirts, denim shirts, wovens, jackets of nearly all kinds, fleecewear, and even t-shirts and caps. With CAU's newest Web site, as Beukema puts it, "we're truly becoming the company that we envisioned from the beginning, one with an 'unlimited' array of products and services for our wholesale apparel clients!"
