CAU’s Policy – One of a Kind!

Competitive position:  As of 2006, Corporate Apparel Unlimited, Inc. [CAU] has adopted a new policy designed to affirm our position as the most highly competitive e-commerce apparel company on “the Net”.

CAU offers more than 2,000 products online, and offers even more “off line” in catalogs featuring everything from work apparel to team uniforms, corporate casuals, promotional items and more.  In our quest to provide our more than 12,000 national clients competitive pricing, our expert staff devotes time weekly to researching our competition – in all garment brands and styles we carry.

What does this research consistently show?  That CAU is the most highly competitive in its pricing across a wide selection of apparel items and brands, when compared to a total of 50 firms offering product online in comparable styles.  In other words, we are – on the average – priced at or below the vast majority of competitors researched.

Our policy, our promise:  If a prospective client obtains a lower price quote on a specific brand and style number for which s/he has previously received a quote from our Customer Service team, CAU will offer that product at 5% less – with but one exception [see below].  To receive this pricing, client must fax or email copy of price quote from the other firm [quantity, brand, style number and color if applicable must match original quote provided by our CSR team member, and quote must be for first-run garments only, i.e., no “seconds” for example].  CAU must receive within 5 days of the date our CSR member provided the quote.  Note:  While CAU believes this will be rare, the one exception is the circumstance under which the price quoted by another supplier is either at or below CAU’s wholesale cost.  In this event, CAU will regretfully decline the order.

Logoed garments:  On quotes for customized product [embroidered or screen printed], CAU’s policy is the same as for “blank” garments noted above, except that – if the quote provided by another firm is lower in total [including costs of artwork and logo application fees] than what our CSR team member quoted, CAU will ship the garments blank to the client’s screen printer or embroiderer with shipping costs waived.  In other words, free ground shipping on the blank garments, regardless of order size.

And, we’ll go even one step further!  In the event we can’t meet either the garment price or the costs of logo decoration, then, at such time as you do place an order – even if it’s under our normal minimums – CAU will ground-ship that order, shipping cost waived!
